The Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for our students, staff, and schools. Through classroom grants, scholarships, student and family assistance, and recognition programs, we provide resources and support that make a lasting difference throughout the Ray-Pec School District.
Educational Opportunities
Classroom Impact Grants
The Foundation provides grants to teachers and staff to bring innovative ideas and educational opportunities to life. These grants fund classroom projects, materials, and experiences that enhance learning and benefit Ray-Pec students.
Student-Led Grants
The Foundation empowers students to turn their ideas into action through Student-Led Grants. These grants support student-designed projects that encourage creativity, leadership, and meaningful learning experiences.
Senior Scholarships
The Ray-Pec Foundation helps graduating seniors pursue educational opportunities beyond high school through scholarships funded by the Foundation and generous community donors. We also recognize outstanding academic achievement through awards honoring top students in individual academic departments.
Student & Family Support
Ray-Pec CARES
We believe students are better prepared to learn and succeed when their basic needs are met. Ray-Pec CARES is the Foundation's student assistance program, providing essential resources and support to help remove barriers to learning.
Through the CAN Program, Panther Closet, and You Matter Ray-Pec, CARES addresses food insecurity, clothing needs, and student well-being. The Ray-Pec CARES Pantry and Closet serves as a central location for food, clothing, and hygiene resources.
Caring About Nutrition (CAN) Program
The Caring About Nutrition (CAN) Program helps address food insecurity by providing nutritious, child-friendly food to Ray-Pec students who need additional support over the weekends.
Each week, volunteers and students help prepare and pack food bags, which are distributed through Ray-Pec schools. By helping meet students' nutritional needs, the CAN Program supports their well-being and readiness to learn.

Panther Closet
The Panther Closet provides free clothing, shoes, and hygiene essentials to Ray-Pec students in need. By helping students feel comfortable, confident, and prepared for school, the program removes barriers to learning.
The Panther Closet is located in the Ray-Pec CARES Pantry and Closet, between Shull Early Learning Center and Ray-Pec Academy.
Need assistance? Families can contact their student's school counselor or join the Panther Closet Information Group on Facebook for current shopping dates and information.
You Matter Ray-Pec
You Matter Ray-Pec brings our community together to remind young people that they are loved, cared for, supported, and heard.
Through student programs and community initiatives, we promote mental health awareness, encourage meaningful connections, and create opportunities for open conversations about life's challenges.
Our goal is to build a community where young people feel valued, know they are not alone, and understand that help and hope are always available.
Together, we can help our youth shape the narrative of their own stories.

Community Support
The Ray-Pec Foundation brings our community together to help meet the needs of students and families throughout the year.
Through initiatives like the Back to School Bash, Adopt-a-Family, and the Holiday Box Meal Program, we work alongside local businesses, organizations, and community members to provide school supplies, holiday assistance, and other essential resources to those who need them.

Through programs like THRIVE Education Nights and Prime Time Breakfast, the Ray-Pec Foundation creates opportunities for learning, connection, and community involvement.
THRIVE Education Nights provide valuable information and resources on topics important to students and families, while Prime Time Breakfast brings community members together to learn about district programs, student achievements, and what's happening in Ray-Pec schools.

The Ray-Pec Foundation celebrates the individuals and organizations who make a lasting difference in our schools and community.
We proudly sponsor awards and prizes for the district's Teacher and Support Staff of the Year honorees, recognizing their outstanding dedication to Ray-Pec students.
Through the Distinguished Alumni Award and Partner in Education Award, we also recognize exceptional graduates and community partners whose contributions make a meaningful impact.
